What Happens Now?

STAGE 1

Consultation to ascertain the your needs and website specification.
This is when we discuss the functions and features of the website to provide us with the information we need to plan how long the project will take, what level of complexity is involved and materials needed. This information enables us to offer an accurate quotation for the work required.

STAGE 2

Quotes & Acceptance.
We will provide a quotation for the services required for your project. The quotation does not give a list of every aspect of your website, simply the services and the costs. If you wish to accept the quotation reply by phone, letter or e-mail stating your acceptance and the quotation reference number. At this stage we would also ask you to forward any copy/editorial, logos, photos or other materials that you will be supplying.

STAGE 3

The Contract & Deposit.
If you have accepted our quotation we will send you the website design contract and an invoice for the deposit. The deposit is for 50% of the website design/development services to be provided. The remaining 50% and the hosting package (if required) is payable upon completion of the website. The contract lays out the terms and conditions as well giving a detailed break-down of the work we will be doing for you. You will have 2 copies, one to be signed and returned to us along with your payment for the deposit, the other is a copy for your records.

STAGE 4

Design & Layout.
During this stage we will send you a number of sample layouts demonstrating colours, logos and designs we feel may be acceptable. We ask you to review the layouts and reply with feedback on which designs (or parts) are acceptable along with any suggestions you wish to make. This may take several revisions before a design is agreed upon.

STAGE 5

Website Creation & Content Addition.
After a design has been agreed upon we will start the process of coding the pages, administration sections, databases and other technical aspects of the website production. At this stage we may make an online demo available for you to view and test as it is being constructed. It is now that we will add the content you have supplied.

STAGE 6

Review & Invoice.
You will be notified when we have completed the work and the site is finished. You will be given a 10 day review period to make any amendments to the copy you have supplied and raise any queries. After this 10 day review period we will issue an invoice for the balance due including any extra services (such as hosting) as agreed in our original quotation.

STAGE 7

Going Live.
When the final payment has been received we will make the website ‘live’ under the domain name either already owned by you or registered on your behalf. If we are providing the hosting and domain we will upload the files and update the domain, if we are not providing hosting we will supply the site files on CD-ROM for you to upload to your site.

STAGE 8

TELL PEOPLE!
Add your website address to your stationary, business cards even your answer phone message. You have a great new website. Make sure your clients see it!
